Web

There are many factors that clients should consider before posting a web site. Of course, design is a key ingredient but you should also think about your potential web viewer. How important are load time and browser compatibility? Do you want to use Flash? There are also logistical problems. Do you have a domain name? How will you change your site after it is up and running? Do you want a calendar, guest book, or shopping cart? Who will host the site. Do you understand that design, domain registration, hosting, and maintenance are all separate services. We can help you with all of these issues.

Our experience in web design/production goes back to 1998. Although that doesn't seem that long ago, that was when most people started to get "online." In the Spring of 2000, did some work for a web design firm in Dallas named Diverse Web Options (www.dwo.net). We built them a template for an area builder (version A, version B, version C, version D). We also worked with them on a project for a local church (fellowship page, classes page). We have worked on many sites as educator included a site for the Lewisville Career and Technical Education Department (djcc.lisd.net/cate).

Web sites can be produced as basic HTML pages or using Macromedia Flash. Flash is the perfect way to add high level animation or a high-tech look to your web site. Because of Flash files are vectors and stream, animations download quickly and run smoothly.
