Denise and Mark Harman
Denise Harman
received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Communications
from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981. She was a graphic
designer in Fort Worth for the Darnell Group for 17 years. In 1997,
she began her teaching career in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford School
District. She currently is the head of the Advertising Design Department
at the Dale Jackson Career and Technology Center in the Lewisville
Independent School District. This year, she was selected as the
Career Center Teacher of the Year. She has given several
school district staff development presentations and remains active
as a freelance designer.
Mark Harman
has been a high school and middle school band director for twenty
years. He has recently switched his concentration and currently
teaches web design at Marcus High School in the Lewisville Independent
School District. He is also currently in charge of the Marcus High
School web site. Mark has done both print and internet freelance
work, and has a strong background in computer graphics. He has been
selected as Who's Who Among America's Teachers on two different
occasions.
